Badges? Badges? We're gonna get some stinkin' badges!
We recently added support for badges to the RailsSchool codebase, so we're going to learn about how they were implemented, and then create our own badges that will show up on our profiles.
In this lesson, we'll review the changes made by https://github.com/rails-school/school/pull/71, https://github.com/rails-school/school/pull/72, and https://github.com/rails-school/school/pull/74 to understand how to implement a simple, yet robust badge system on a rails site. More importantly, we're going to get experience digging into real-world code, and learning how to use github effectively.
Please create a github account before this class, and associate it with your nitrous.io account.
